A tragi-comic adaptation of the opening testimony before the descent into despair, of a homeless, Shakespearian 'Richard III' set in the modern day backdrop of Skid Row, Los Angeles.
The film has been shot in and around Skid Row and Downtown Los Angeles at night. LA's orange haze set against the grimier backdrop gives a fresh take on location for Shakespeare. The flm having been shot on Skid Row, gives a sense of avant garde realism blending the incongruity of Shakespeare and dead end Los Angeles.
